Dr. Tina Le - Dentist (BDS)

Dr Tina Le was born in Adelaide and completed her secondary schooling at Annesley College. She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from The Adelaide University in 2006. Tina was awarded The Dental Advancement Society Award for having attained the highest clinical standard and the Australian Society of Endodontology Prize for having attained the highest standard in the annual examination from The University of Adelaide. She was also awarded The Student Achievement Award in Endodontics from the American Association of Endodontists. 

Tina is a member of the Australian Dental Association and Australian Endodontic Society. In 2011 she co-authored a research paper that was published in the Australian Orthodontic Journal. Tina has sat the primaries examination with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. 

Providing the most optimal dental treatment to her patients is very important to Tina, this encourages her to regularly step out of clinic time to attend continual professional development courses. This ensures she stays abreast with the latest research and technology. 

Tina has spent two weeks in Sri Lanka as a volunteer visiting five orphanages through Overseas Childrens Aid Associations performing dental examinations, providing dental education and donating oral hygiene products.  

Dr. Robin Yong - Dentist (BDS FRACDS BScDent Hons)


Dr Robin Yong graduated from the Bachelor of Dental Surgery program in 2006 (University of Adelaide). He was awarded the Dean’s List award from his graduating cohort. In 2013, Robin was inducted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (via examination) in the General Stream, with electives in the subjects of restorative dentistry and periodontology. He also completed an honours research degree in 2017.
 
Robin strongly believes that dentistry should be focused on prevention and minimal intervention. He is interested in all facets of dental practice and attends continued education courses regularly to keep up to date with the latest developments. Robin believes in working collaboratively with his patients to ensure the needs of each patient is catered for.
 
Besides his involvement in clinical dentistry, Robin is a part-time lecturer at the University of Adelaide Dental School. He is a year coordinator for 2nd year dental students and lectures in minimal intervention and restorative dentistry. He is also currently involved in a number of areas of research, namely, tooth erosion, craniofacial growth and development (particularly linked to the effects of genetic mutations in craniofacial deformities) and dental anthropology. He has published in various international journals.


Dr. Nhan Nguyen - Dentist (G.Dip.Dent)


Dr Nhan Nguyen was born in Adelaide and completed high school at St. Aloysius college in 2002. She then graduated from the Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Adelaide in 2005. 


Nhan was employed as a dental Hygienist working at a Periodontic practice for 4 years and a general practice for 5 years. She was also employed as a Dental Therapist at the South Australian School Dental Service throughout these 5 years. Nhan then decided to further her career and studied an additional 5 years at Griffith University to obtain her Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry. 

Nhan is very passionate about providing the utmost care to her patients delivering dentistry in a safe and gentle manner.

Outside of work, Nhan prioritises spending quality time with family and friends, she enjoys arts
and crafts, cooking and baking.

Dr. Zi Wei Lim – Dentist (BDS BScDent Hons)


Dr Zi Wei Lim is originally from New Zealand. He graduated from the Bachelor of Dental Surgery program in 2016 (University of Adelaide) and was awarded the Executive Dean’s Certificate of Merit from his graduating cohort, as well as the Kevin Murphy Prize in Oral Surgery as a student. He also completed a honours research degree in 2018. Zi is also a member of the Australian Dental Association.


Zi places a strong emphasis on communication to achieve a more mutualistic relationship with his patients. Moreover, as with many aspects of healthcare, he believes the adage that ‘prevention is better than the cure’, however this does not preclude his interest in all other disciplines in general dental practice. He also regularly attends continuing education courses to stay informed with what is current in the dental profession which, he believes is essential for adhering to the tenets of best practice. Ultimately, he wishes to provide more ideal management options and treatment for patients to the highest standard that he is capable.


Furthermore, Zi demonstrates a passion for dental education not only with his patients, but also with aspiring dentists. He is currently a part-time clinical lecturer for 2nd and 3rd year dental students at the University of Adelaide Dental School.

Lee - Dental Assistant / Front Office Co-ordinator

 

Lee has been working as a Dental Assistant of over seven years. She is highly experienced and dedicated to our patients. Lee works enthusiastically to improve her skills  and knowledge to provide the best possible care for our patients.

 

Lee regularly attends Infection Control, Medical Emergency and Practice Management Seminars to ensure our clinic provides the highest standard of care to our patients and complies with ADA guidelines.

Lyn - Dental Assistant / Front Office Co-ordinator


Lyn gained her Dental Assisting Certificate in 1985 and her Radiography Certificate in 1986. She has worked in dental practices around South Australia since then as a Dental Assistant and Practice Manager.


Lyn is very experienced and skilled in her profession, she takes great pride in her work and is very warm and caring towards our patients.


Regular participation in further education is important to Lyn so that she is always applying current standards.


Silvana - Practice Manager

 

Silvana has worked in medical and dental practices for over 20 years. She is hardworking and dedicated to her profession. Silvana is a real asset to the practice as she works tirelessly in managing business operations to ensure the successful and fluid flow of the practice.
